Environmental Policy

Hitachi Automotive Products (USA), Inc., Los Angeles Plant (HAP-LA), recognizes its corporate and social responsibility for protecting the environment, the health and safety of its team members, customers, and the public at large.  This responsibility is recognized through the implementation, and maintenance of this policy, with the communication to all of our team members and the public.

HAP-LA will conduct business in a manner in which its operations, for the remanufacture and distribution of automotive components, are in compliance with the relevant legal and regulatory framework governing environmental issues, as well as other relevant standards to which HAP-LA may voluntarily subscribe.

Through continuous improvement principles incorporated ISO-14001, and through the identification of aspects that are consistent with its operations and scope of certification, HAP-LA will implement methods and strategies for preventing pollution, reducing of waste, and conserving resources, for our environment.
